*** THE APARTMENT ***
The apartment is a duplex located on the 2nd and 3rd floors of a small mansion, in the heart of Marseille. It is completely quiet on a garden, very bright, and has a large terrace (south facing) on the upper floor.
It is located next to the antiques district, near the prefecture of Marseille. It is close to the metro (3 minutes walk) and the tram (4 minutes walk), and you can go to the entire city center on foot (10 minutes from the Old Port).
On the 2nd floor: a large bedroom with a double bed (king size), a second bedroom with two single beds (which can be pushed together to make a double bed) and a bathroom with a large walk-in shower.
On the 3rd floor: a large living room with a fully equipped open kitchen, a dining table, a sofa and a desk. The room is bathed in light through a glass roof and opens onto a large terrace (south facing) of 14 m2.
The entire accommodation will be accessible to you. Some cupboards containing my personal belongings are locked.
The apartment is fully air-conditioned and has fiber optic internet (WiFi).
*** THE NEIGHBORHOOD ***
The apartment is located next to the antiques district, near the Marseille prefecture.
There are many shops, bars and restaurants within walking distance (but not directly on the street of the building, which is very quiet.)
It is ideally located to visit all the points of interest in downtown Marseille: Vieux-Port (10 minutes on foot), Noailles and La Plaine (15 minutes), Notre-Dame-de-la-Garde (20 minutes), etc.
You can get to the beach in 10 minutes by bike or 30 minutes on foot.
